Friday 31st August

Morning session with Emma and James.

Breakdance warm-up followed by deadlifts. 70WU and then 80 through to 120kg.

WoD was my first proper Rx attempt.

If I was a giver upper I would have given up. Fortunately I am not and I didn’t.

May have taken a while and 1km of running but I did it. Popeye forearms at the end.

Saturday 25th August

Went along to the morning session and felt ok, despite my sore leg. WoD was 5 rounds of AMRAP – 3 squat cleans 40kg, 6 box jumps and 9 situps for 4 mins, with a minute skippi before a 1 minute rest. I managed 13 sets.
Good news on the scales. Down to 99kg, so half way to my goal.
Bad news was trip to A&E in the evening to get my leg checked out.
