A bit of competition

Last weekend I attended a Grassroots Kettlebell competition in Birmingham. Travelled down with a bunch of more experienced lifters from BigKat.The venue was great – back of the Wolverson warehouse.Was slightly nervous doing the first 5 minutes of jerks, sticking to a single 20kg.Second was the snatch and I felt better, getting 87 reps with the 20kg again.Third was Longcycle, again with the 20kg. It was a great atmosphere with a broad range of ages and sizes – all enthusiastic about sports kettlebell. Managed to get a silver medal for my snatch efforts, as Grassroots male.Treated myself to a couple more KBs – a 28 and 32kg.
A great day with some lovely people.
