WoD was 3 rounds of 4mins – 3 power cleans (50kg), 6 box jumps and 9 situps. Completed 10 and a situp.

Push press 5×5, worked up to 65kg.
Tabata barbell lunges at 40kg – 66.
2 mins rest then Tabata burpees – 52.
Some skips to finish but got calf cramp, so only 174.
Amy. Has an omnipresence about her. Always immaculately turned out and has a wicked/cheeky sense of humour. She alleges not to pull faces when swinging kettlebells and sweats like a horse, with her tenacious work ethic.

Have a confession to make. Rachel found me doing something in the bathroom the other day. I was spending rather too long looking at myself in the mirror! Weight has gone up a Kg or so recently but I think it may be extra muscle.

Worked with Adrian and Paul on squats. Worked up to 90kg and felt good. Practised a dump too.
7pm crew got to row instead of running in the wet. I think Rudds is getting soft. Yes, Amy is stationary.
Wonderful Saturday session and I didn’t even lift a single weight! Zara finally attended the Crossfit Kids. So proud that she conquered her fears, listened to instruction and tried her best. Most importantly she had fun.

Went down at 18.45 to see Pete and Rudds doing some big lifts. Warmed up and did some front squats and slow bw deadlifts.
